The Main Objective of the Company :To search for coal, lignite, limestone, mineral oil and gas, and other minerals and precious stones in the State of Assam and anywhere in India and acquire, by purchase or grant, obtaining licences/leases or other rights in the lands within the State of Assam and anywhere in India to win, open and work coal, lignite, limestone, mineral oil and gas, and other minerals and precious stones in above and under the said lands, or any of them, or in above and under any other lands over which mining rights may be acquired by the Company; to raise, sell, dispose of coal, lignite, limestone, mineral oil and gas, and other minerals and precious stones to be procured therefrom; and to treat and make marketable and convert such ores into metal, if found expedient to do so, or otherwise to deal with, the produce of the mines, quarries and operations of the Company.
